Norway

Norway matters to investors for one reason above all: the oil fund, the largest single pool of institutional capital in the world and the model for managing resource revenue. The Dutch-disease and petro-state literature is strong; the fund itself still has no good trade book, and the insider account of the licensing system is a hard-to-find monograph.
