What we collect

What we do not collect

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Your browser’s storage

The research platform keeps a few settings in your own browser so it opens as you left it: light or dark theme, list or grid view, and the place you last had open in each section. They stay on your device and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.

The newsletter

The newsletter sign-up form on the home page is Substack’s. What you type into it goes to Substack and is handled under Substack’s privacy policy; Substack may set its own cookies in that form.

Why we use it

We use a waitlist address only to tell you when the platform opens, feedback only to answer you and fix the site, and visit counts only to see which parts of the site are used.

Where it is kept

Waitlist entries and feedback are stored in a Supabase database and file store in the United States (us-east-2). The site is served by Vercel. Neither the browser nor anyone outside our team can read the database: only our own server code can, with a key that never leaves the server.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist addresses until the platform opens or you ask us to remove yours, and feedback for as long as it is useful for fixing the site, then delete it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Send the request with the Feedback button on the research platform, giving the email address you used, and we will act on it within 30 days.
